Home away from home! Pleasant, well-maintained home within walking distance to BCIT and Electronic Arts, right behind the Burnaby General Hospital.

I have two large bedrooms available for a) non-smokers and b) those who are productively engaged outside the home on a full-time basis (work or school)and c) those whose habits and personality are such that they fit in with the rest of the household.

This is a quiet, happy household, suitable for studying and for those who enjoy a peaceful home environment.

While taking each person's schedule into account, over the many years I have shared my home I have found that taking the evening meal together creates the most pleasant atmosphere. It is my desire to be a blessing to those who come to live with me. Everyone eats breakfast on their own and I usually make the evening meal so you can return to a home-cooked dinner. Breakfast and dinner are $395/month.

The rooms are available January 1st 2012. Long term boarders are preferred. Both rooms have double beds, large double closets and dressers. As boarders share a bathroom, for everyone's comfort I take only male boarders.

There is a large, comfortable living/family room on the same level as the bedrooms.
Bed linens & towels for both rooms can be supplied, or bring your own if you wish. A 3 piece bathroom with shower is shared between two tenants

Bus is at the end of the block, although it is an easy walk to BCIT, and just a block from the hospital. Easy access to all major city routes and the freeway.

We are near both Metrotown and Brentwood shopping centres with their full spectrum of commercial, recreational and transportation services. Skytrain is at both Metrotown and Brentwood, so there is quick and easy access to downtown Vancouver. There is a small shopping area on the next block with doctor's offices, coffee shops, grocery stores, hairdressers, etc. Charlie's Chocolate Factory is just a few blocks away and Willingdon Church is a pleasant walk or short drive away. There is a nice little park one just around the corner.

Previous tenants said they enjoyed the quiet, pleasant and fun atmosphere and coming home to a delicious home-cooked meal, and found it "just like home". Many tradesmen return when taking another course at BCIT.

NOTE: THIS IS A NON-SMOKING HOUSEHOLD. Please do not apply if you smoke at all, as the smell comes in with you even if you only smoke outside.
